This displays the 25 most recent company announcements for boths Funds and Equities. Specific Funds and Equities can be searched over specific tme periods using the by code and by date functions. If you are unsure if the exact Fund or Equity code, just type in the beginning of the company or fund name into the by code box and click on the question mark. This will display all possible matches and will allow you to select the one that you want.
The number of items shown can also be amended by typing over the default value of 25 followed by clicking on show.
Enter the first few letters of the fund, equity or company name that you require and press Go. A list will be produced of all possible matches sorted by equities, funds, investment trusts, OEICs, pensions, insurance and unit trusts. To select the correct match click in the select box next to the fund/equity name and code and then click on Choose fund. This will return you to the latest price page for this selection.
This graph shows the relative performance of each of the selected Funds, Equities, Portfolios and Indicies since the start of the period specified. The graphs show the percentage change in price relative to the starting price of each of the Funds, Equities, Indices or Portfolios.
This page allows you to compare the performance of a number of Funds or Equities by entering the relevant codes. You can enter four Fund or Equity codes, up to three Portfolios and also compare these with a market index (or sector) over a time period of your choice.
Fund or Equity codes can be looked up using the question mark symbol by each box.
To substitute one Fund or Equity for another, just overtype the relative code and click the update graph button.
To change the time period or the market index, just select a new period or index and click the update graph button.
N.B. If a Fund or Equity only started trading after the start of the time period selected, or if we do not hold price information for the full period selected, the graph will start as a horizontal line showing no change. The percentage changes in price are then calculated relative to the closing price of the first date for which we hold information.
This page shows the current information we hold for the Fund or Equity you have selected as well as a graph showing movements in its price over a specific time period that can be user defined. You can also view further historical graphs, graph Fund or Equity performance against an index or look up a historical price using the options on this page.
To look up the price for another Fund or Equity you can overtype the code in the Fund/Equity code box and press Show. If you are unsure of the Fund or Equity code, enter the beginning of the company or fund name and click on the question mark and a list of matches will be displayed of which one can be selected.
To add a new portfolio, enter the name you have chosen into the Add a new portfolio box and click on Create new portfolio. This portfolio will now be shown in the Other portfolios drop-down list – to select another portfolio choose a portfolio from this list and click on View portfolio.
To change a portfolio name, select the portfolio that you want to change using the View portfolio tool and then overtype the current name in the Change this portfolio name box and click on Update portfolio name.
To delete a portfolio, select the portfolio from the drop-down list and click on delete portfolio.
To amend or delete items within a portfolio, click on the edit e sign next to the relevant fund or equity in the portfolio. This will allow you to change any of the variables set fro that fund or equity as well as allowing for it to be deleted.
To add an item into a portfolio use the Adding items tool at the bottom of the page. Firstly enter the fund or equity code into the Epic code box. If you are unsure as to what the correct code is, enter the first few letters of the fund or equity name and click on the question mark where a list of all possible matches will be produced – simply select the desired fund or equity to be returned to the My portfolio screen. Then you will need to add the quantity and the date purchased. If you know the purchase price also enter this, if you are unsure the closing price for the fund or equity will be selected.
Any of the funds or equities within a portfolio can be clicked on to show the latest price information and historical graph.
